Description

This solicitation is for services to analyze sediment and benthic invertebrate tissue samples for methyl mercury and total mercury collected from Great Lakes nearshore waters in 2026 and 2027. The work includes analyzing up to 141 sediment samples from Lake Ontario, St. Clair River, and Thunder Bay in 2026, and up to 29 benthic invertebrate tissue samples from the St. Clair River in 2026. In 2027, up to 286 sediment samples from Lake Erie, St. Lawrence River, and Peninsula Harbour will be analyzed, along with up to 12 tissue samples from Peninsula Harbour. All samples will be frozen and stored at -18°C after collection.
