Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Rural Development (RD) Rural Business-Cooperative Service (RBCS) is requesting applications for the Meat and Poultry Processing Expansion Program - Phase 4 (MPPEP-4) to fortify the American beef industry. This program provides competitive grant funding to Very Small, Small, and Intermediate Processors to maximize the value and utilization of their existing capacity, focusing on promoting local supply chains. A total of $60 million in grant funding is available, divided equally into two competitions for different processor sizes, with cost share requirements.
