NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, on behalf of the U.S. Navy, is seeking a contractor to provide rental and support services for eight Dual Lane Weapons Detection Systems for the NAS Patuxent River Air Show. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (NAVSUP FLT LOG CTR NORFOLK) - Products/Services Requested: - Rental of eight Dual Lane Weapons Detection Systems - Includes delivery, installation, calibration, and removal - Systems must comply with TSA screening protocols - Operator training for Navy District Washington (NDW) security personnel - Training to be provided upon installation - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All equipment must be delivered and set up by 0800 on the first day of the event, with training completed by 1600 the same day - Removal of equipment must be completed by 0800 on the final day - Contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, and travel/labor for setup and teardown - Systems are for walk-through concealed weapon detection to support a large public event - Place of Performance: - NAS Patuxent River, Maryland (Hanger 101 Entry Control Point) - Contracting office at NAVSUP FLT LOG CTR NORFOLK, Virginia - Additional coordination with Naval District Washington, D.C.

Description

The Government seeks a qualified Contractor to provide eight (8) Dual Lane Weapons Detection Systems for rental, delivery set-up, and pick-up. The Contractor shall also train NDW operators on proper usage and for walk-through concealed weapon detection systems to support the NAS Patuxent River Air Show.
