Iowa State University, on behalf of the Industrial & Manufacturing Systems Engineering Department, is soliciting bids for a fully integrated automation platform to support student learning about real-world manufacturing systems. The platform will be deployed within the Sukup Advanced Manufacturing Lab to support instructional delivery and a student-run production line, enabling students to design, simulate, deploy, and operate manufacturing systems within a single ecosystem. The system must be modular, reconfigurable, and support digital twin capabilities, robotics integration, and open architecture controls. Installation, training, and customer support are also required as part of the procurement.
