The procurement is necessary because Hillsborough County Fire Rescue exclusively uses MSA self-contained breathing apparatuses (SCBA), which require proprietary MSA brand accessories and replacement components. TEN-8 FIRE & SAFETY LLC is the sole manufacturer-authorized representative for MSA SCBAs and accessories for Hillsborough County.
