Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a sole source procurement to TEN-8 FIRE & SAFETY LLC for the purchase of MSA SCBA accessories through April 15th, 2027 at an estimated cost of $61,574.00. The procurement is necessary because Hillsborough County Fire Rescue exclusively uses MSA self-contained breathing apparatuses (SCBA), which require proprietary MSA brand accessories and replacement components. TEN-8 FIRE & SAFETY LLC is the sole manufacturer-authorized representative for MSA SCBAs and accessories for Hillsborough County. The County reserves the right to extend the contract period, adjust the scope of services, and increase the award amount as needed.
