Description

The National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) is currently seeking proposals to add a Medium-Voltage Direct Current (MV-DC) Filter at NLR's Flatirons Campus. This setup will open a wide range of research opportunities, especially in the context of modern power systems and renewable energy integration. Key research areas will include power quality improvement, grid-forming and grid-following control, advanced control algorithms, DC microgrid research, and hardware-in-the-loop simulations.
