Description

This solicitation is for roadside brush removal on approximately 88.9 kilometers of Forest Service Roads within the Sunshine Coast Natural Resource District. The contractor is required to mechanically brush both roadsides using a rubber tired brushing machine, cutting vegetation down to ground level and up to 3 meters in height. The work includes ensuring sight distances on curves, corners, road junctions, signs, bridges, and other structures. All equipment must have working communication radios with relevant Forest Service Road frequencies, and work is not to commence until August 17, 2026.
