The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Production Engineering, is seeking information from vendors regarding the procurement and installation of an industrial-grade Additive Manufacturing System for its Washington, DC facility. - Government Buyer: - Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Office of Production Engineering - Products Requested: - Additive Manufacturing System (1 unit) - Industrial-grade, modular extrusion nozzles (0.4 mm to 0.8 mm) - Open-material architecture - Build envelope at least 400 x 350 x 400 mm - Compatible with 230VAC, 3W, 30Amp; includes uninterruptible power supply - Footprint not exceeding 20 sq ft; heated build chamber (min 90°C) - Software to print 3D STL or similar files - Support Removal Cleaning Station (1 unit) - Water-based, compatible with 220 VAC, single phase, 20Amp - Work envelope >17 x 13 x 15 inches; stainless steel tank and basket - Integrated sink, spray faucet, quick-disconnect plumbing, programmable controls - Services Requested: - Turn-key installation, including delivery, rigging, and site preparation - Training for up to five BEP personnel (two days software, two days operation) - Warranty: - One-year warranty included, with four optional one-year extended warranty periods - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must replace an obsolete unit and support rapid prototyping and production - Open-material architecture and modularity are required - Training and installation must occur at the BEP Washington, DC facility - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the notice - Place of Performance: - Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 14th and C Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20228
