Description
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is determining that the Cleveland, Ohio nonattainment area has attained the 2015 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) based on quality-assured air monitoring data for 2023-2025. This determination relies on an exceptional events request submitted by Ohio EPA and concurred by EPA. As a result, EPA is suspending certain planning requirements related to attainment of the 2015 ozone NAAQS for the Cleveland area as long as the area continues to attain the standard.
