The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide preventative and ongoing maintenance, repair, and software support for its security systems at headquarters and multiple statewide locations. - Government Buyer: - California Department of Social Services (CDSS) - Offices include Contracts and Purchasing Bureau and Child Care and Development Division - OEMs and Vendors: - Software House (CCURE 9000 Security Management System) - exacqVision (Network Video Recording System) - Stopware Corporation (PassagePoint Global Visitor Management System) - Orion Entrance Control (SpeedGate OBSG-HG-E turnstiles) - Products/Services Requested: - Preventative and ongoing maintenance, repair, and software updates for: - Access control and alarm monitoring (Software House CCURE 9000) - Video wall and network video recording (exacqVision) - Visitor management (Stopware PassagePoint) - Entrance control turnstiles (Orion SpeedGate) - Additional on-site inspection, modification, and installation projects as needed - Labor, supervision, materials, and testing - Warranty on workmanship and materials for 12 months - Quantities: - Service hours: Up to 1,050 hours over three years for maintenance and additional services - Travel and fingerprinting fees included annually - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All technicians must be certified and authorized by Software House for CCURE system - Contractor must be authorized by Software House and Stopware for software maintenance and updates - Emergency response required within two hours for critical repairs - Biannual (at least twice a year) software and firmware updates - Compliance with state and federal security and confidentiality laws - Minimum five years of relevant experience required - Services may be required at multiple CDSS locations statewide - Locations: - Primary: CDSS Headquarters, 744 P Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 - Additional: Over 25 CDSS offices across California, including Arcata, Chico, Clovis, Covina, El Segundo, Fresno, Glendale, Goleta, Los Angeles, Monterey Park, Oakland, Orange, Palmdale, Riverside, Roseville, Sacramento, San Bruno, San Diego, San Jose - Contract Structure: - Hourly-rate service agreement - Includes travel and fingerprinting fees - Mandatory pre-bid conference - DVBE incentive program (participation requirement waived)
