The Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) is seeking proposals for Transferred Frequency Response (TFR) capability to comply with Alberta and North American electric reliability standards. The AESO intends to purchase up to 50MW/0.1Hz of TFR capability to meet its frequency response obligations for the term December 1, 2026 to November 30, 2027. The contract duration is 12 months, and the agreement will be governed by the Transferred Frequency Response Agreement (TFRA).
