The USDA Forest Service is seeking a contractor to perform post-fire stand examination and data collection services in the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow - Routt National Forest. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service, Laramie Ranger District, Medicine Bow - Routt National Forest - Contracting office located at 1617 Cole Blvd, Lakewood, CO - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; all requirements pertain to service provision - Products/Services Requested: - Stand examination and data collection services for post-fire forest assessment - Mandatory examination of 656 plots, with an optional 409 additional plots - Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, transportation, supervision, and supplies (except government-furnished items) - Data collection must comply with the Performance Work Statement, Common Stand Exam User Guide, and region-specific appendices - Data must be submitted in specified electronic formats - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must use qualified personnel and implement quality control measures - Adherence to government-provided documentation and standards is mandatory - Work is to be performed in the Laramie Ranger District, with possible delivery to Timber Lake Job Corps Center in Oregon - Period of performance is up to six months, with an optional extension

Description

The scope of the work provides for stand examination and related data collection activities on the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow - Routt National Forest. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, supervision, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), incidentals, and perform all work necessary to conduct stand examinations in compliance with terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this solicitation. Information shall be collected as outlined in (1) the attached Performance Work Statement, (2) Chapter 4 of the Government provided Common Stand Exam User Guide and (3) Region specific Appendices, unless specifically modified by the contents of this contract.
