The USDA Forest Service is seeking seasonal rental of forklifts to support the Northwest Fire Cache at Deschutes National Forest in Redmond, Oregon. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service, Deschutes National Forest - Products/Services Requested: - Rental of 8 forklifts each fire season (June 1 – December 13 annually, base year plus three option years) - 5 Standard Fleet Forklifts (3,000–7,000 lbs capacity, three-stage mast, LPG engine, automatic transmission, safety features) - 3 Narrow-Aisle Fleet Forklifts (minimum 3,000 lbs capacity, max 38-inch width for drive-in racking, equivalent to Toyota 8FGCU15) - Routine maintenance and repair services for all forklifts, including rapid response (within five business days) for repairs or replacements - Delivery, pickup, and all required maintenance included - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Forklifts must meet specific technical and safety standards (detailed in SOW) - Narrow-aisle forklifts must be compatible with drive-in racking systems - All equipment must be operationally ready and maintained throughout the rental period - Small business set-aside under NAICS 333924 - Place of Performance/Delivery: - Deschutes National Forest, Northwest Fire Cache, 1740 SE Ochoco Way, Redmond, OR 97756

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1240BE26Q0060 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for seasonal forklift rentals for the Deschutes National Forest, Northwest Fire Cache.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 333924  The small business size standard is 900 employees  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
