The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWC Carderock), under the Department of the Navy, is seeking vendors for the fabrication of large-scale test fixtures to support structural fatigue testing. - Government Buyer: - Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Carderock Division, part of NAVSEA - Products/Services Requested: - Fabrication, machining, assembly, and quality assurance of steel floor plates and reaction frames - Two reaction frame designs (Simple and Curved); only one design will be selected for manufacture - Floor plates: 5 units, fabricated to NSWCCD Drawing no. 2026-FLPL-653-A001_V3 - Simple Reaction Frame: 3 units, per NSWCCD Drawing no. 2026-TF-653-A001_V4 - Curved Reaction Frame: 3 units, per NSWCCD Drawing no. 2026-CF-PTI-A001_V2 - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vendors must demonstrate experience with large steel structures and provide manufacturability feedback - Capability statements, inspection capabilities, lead times, and ROM pricing are required - Quality assurance with certifications is emphasized - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - All technical details and specifications are referenced in provided drawings

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) requires the large-scale test fixturing in support of structural fatigue testing. The fixturing is roughly broken into two categories: “floor plates” and “reaction frames” and referred to herein by those names or as “test fixtures” where referring to all required components. There are two potential designs for the reaction frames, only one design will be manufactured.
