The U.S. Air Force at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland is seeking contractor support for the B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program, specifically for airfield lighting and signage work at Kelly Airfield. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 502d Civil Engineer Squadron and 502d Contracting Squadron at JBSA Lackland - Scope of Work: - Removal and replacement of runway and taxiway lights and signage at Kelly Airfield - Includes uninstalling 60 raised lights along Runway 16/34, 38 raised lights near the Boeing ramp, 2 runway exit signs, and 6 signs on Taxiway E - Reinstallation and repair of all removed lights and signs after B-52 aircraft taxi or are towed - Onsite presence required during aircraft taxi and parking - All work must comply with FAA and electrical safety regulations - Services must be performed by licensed Texas electricians - Products/Services Requested: - Airfield lighting and sign removal, reinstallation, and repair services - No specific OEMs, part numbers, or brands are specified in the solicitation or attachments - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must coordinate with Airfield Management and Air Traffic Control - Work must ensure safe B-52 taxi and access to the Boeing ramp - Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a $25,000 call order limit and $250,000 annual limit - Option to repeat services for additional aircraft arrivals/departures - Period of Performance: - BPA effective for five years; specific work windows tied to B-52 arrivals and departures - Locations: - All work performed at JBSA Lackland, Kelly Airfield, San Antonio, TX

Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and all other items or services necessary to perform the requirements as described in this Statement of Work (SOW) at JBSA Lackland, Kelly Airfield, TX. Replace the raised lights/signs after the B-52 taxis or is towed to the runway as defined in this SOW. Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring the B-52 has access to Boeing from the runway and ensure the lights/signs are restored back to original condition. The runway and taxiway lights and signs, as described in this SOW, are included in this contract.
