The Bureau of Indian Education is seeking a contractor to replace and install fire-rated door assemblies at San Ildefonso Day School in Santa Fe, New Mexico. - Government Buyer: - Bureau of Indian Education, Indian Education Acquisition Office, Division of Acquisition Management - Contracting office located in Albuquerque, NM - OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers): - Approved manufacturers include Steelcraft, Republic Doors, and Curries - Products/Services Requested: - Replacement and installation of 37 fire-rated door assemblies (15 exterior, 22 interior) - Exterior doors: 3'-0" x 7'-0" fire-rated metal doors with insulated cores, heavy-gauge galvanized steel frames, panic exit devices, ADA-compliant hardware, thresholds, kick plates, and weather sealing - Interior doors: 3'-0" x 6'-8" fire-rated metal doors with mineral cores, 20-gauge galvanized steel frames, ADA-compliant lever locksets, commercial-grade door closers, kick plates, and door stops - Door hardware: full mortise ball bearing hinges, heavy-duty door closers, panic exit devices, lever locksets, kick plates, door sweeps, thresholds, wall and floor stops - Removal and disposal of existing fire-rated door assemblies and hardware - Installation of new fire-rated doors, frames, and hardware in compliance with NFPA 80, ADA, and New Mexico codes - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with NFPA 80, ADA, and New Mexico building codes - Project must be completed within 30 calendar days after notice to proceed - Minimal disruption to school operations is required - Set aside 100% for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises - Performance and payment bonds required - Safety, background investigations, and Indian Economic Enterprise requirements apply
