Description

The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is seeking proposals from firms or teams experienced in providing digital and/or app-based geographic and road safety information, including planning, outreach, evaluation, and data analysis, with expertise in school-based transportation or related fields for metropolitan areas similar to the 20-county Metro Atlanta area. The project involves a 20-month contract to design, develop, deliver, evaluate, and report on a supplemental planning activity across three metro Atlanta communities: Clayton County, Spalding County, and the City of Brookhaven. The goal is to improve roadway, bicycle, and pedestrian safety for youth and families by conducting planning, implementing school-based demonstration activities, and supporting safety infrastructure improvements. The contract is funded through the SS4A program with anticipated funds of $180,000, and matching funds provided by participating localities. Work must be completed by January 31, 2028, with a contract award anticipated in June 2026.
