The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Installation Management Richmond is seeking qualified small business contractors to repair roof vents in Building 3 at the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR), Virginia. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Installation Management Richmond, DCSO Richmond Division #1 - Project managed by Michael OConnor - Scope of Work: - Removal and disposal of a large metal roof vent from Building 3 - Roof repairs including installation of rafters, plywood sheathing, and 3-tab shingles matching existing color - Interior ceiling framing with steel studs, installation of mold-resistant gypsum wallboard, finishing, and painting - Provision of a portable toilet for the duration of the project - Requirements: - Contractor must have at least 5 years of relevant experience - Compliance with the Buy American Act, safety, environmental, and security standards - Submittals required: safety plan, quality control plan, daily reports - Department of Labor Wage Determination Number 2015-4313 Revision 32 applies - Contractors must be registered in SAM - Contract Details: - Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract - Small business set-aside under NAICS 236220 - All pricing and options must be included in proposals - Completion required within 60 days after notice to proceed - One-year warranty after final acceptance - Site Visit: - Scheduled outside Building 3 at DSCR - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are specified; work is for commercial construction services

DSCR B3 Roof Vent Repair for DLA Installation Management Richmond

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation number SP4703-26-Q-0041 is attached.

This acquisition will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.3 – Other Than Full and Open Competition.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220.  The small business size standard is $45 M. Department of Labor Wage Determination Number: 2015-4313 Revision 32 applies. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract. Partial proposals will not be accepted. Pricing for all line items and options must be submitted with the proposal. Refer to the RFQ for applicable terms and conditions.

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) requires the reapir of B3 roof ventsatisfy DLA Installation Management Richmond, VA requirements. See the Statement of Work (SOW) for complete details and map.

Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at time of quote submission.  If you are not already registered in SAM, go to the SAM website at www.sam.gov to register prior to submitting your quote. 

Site visit is scheduled for May 26, at 10:00 AM. Meeting place is outside of B3.
