Description
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Oil and Gas, has made a Preliminary Decision to offer a 50-year lease to STAK Energy Corporation for a 715.4-acre parcel located near the Dalton Highway, approximately 26 miles south of Deadhorse, Alaska. The lease is intended for the construction, operation, and maintenance of a natural gas-powered energy facility, including modular high-performance computing units, power generation infrastructure, operations and maintenance buildings, fiber optic communication links, and utilities. The public is invited to comment on this proposed lease by June 15, 2026. The lease application was submitted on November 21, 2025, and amended on March 12, 2026, with no other competitive interest expressed during solicitation.
