Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC) in Morganton, NC is seeking qualified vendors for the relocation and installation of Liquid Propane (LP) training props to a new Emergency Service Training Center site. - Government Buyer: - Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC), Facility Services, State of North Carolina - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products/Services Requested: - Relocation and installation of various LP training props, including: - Fire Extinguisher Burn Pan (1) - Gas Grill (1) - 100 lb cylinders (1) - Forklift (1) - 1000 Gallon Tanks (2, with new concrete saddles per NFPA 58 Chapter 6.8.3) - Car (1) - Bobtail Truck (1) - Upright Flammable Liquid Tanks and Grid Piping (1) - Flammable Liquids Truck (1) - LPG Bulk Storage Tanks (1, with new concrete saddles per NFPA 58 Chapter 6.8.3) - LPG Truck (1) - Emergency Shut-off Valves (ESVs) (5, to be reinstalled in existing valve boxes) - Pneumatic Valves, Gauges, and Polyurethane Supply Lines (1, with new standard inch supply lines and push connectors) - Services include cutting supply lines, transporting and setting props, reinstalling ESVs, pneumatic valves, and piping per NFPA and OSHA standards - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with current site drawings, owner specifications, and NFPA/OSHA safety standards - Contractor must have or subcontract with a licensed plumber for gas installations - Mandatory site visit required - Only vendors registered with the State of North Carolina's Electronic Vendor Portal are eligible - Locations: - Relocation from 150 Coal Chute Road, Morganton, NC (current ESTC) - Installation at 900 Vine Arden Road, Morganton, NC (new site)
