This notice announces the first public meeting of the Healthcare Advisory Committee (HAC), which advises the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator on programs and policies to improve the U.S. healthcare system. The meeting will be held virtually on May 18, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT and is open to the public. The Committee was established under the Executive Order Establishing the President's Make American Healthy Again Commission. The meeting will include introductions of Committee members, discussion of the Committee vision, and establishment of bylaws.
