Description
The Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration (MARAD), is seeking public comments on a request to use a foreign-built small passenger vessel, M/V REMEDY, in United States coastwise trade. The vessel carries no more than twelve passengers for hire. MARAD is authorized to determine if the use of such vessels adversely affects U.S. vessel builders or coastwise trade businesses that use U.S.-built vessels. Comments are requested to assist in this determination and must be submitted by June 12, 2026.
