Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invites the general public and other Federal agencies to comment on the proposed revision of a currently approved information collection related to the E-Verify Program. This web-based system allows employers to electronically confirm the employment eligibility of newly hired employees. The notice seeks comments on the nature of the information collection, categories of respondents, estimated burden, estimated cost, and the information collection instruments. The estimated total annual hour burden is 2,045,781 hours with an estimated total annual cost burden of $1,887,000. Comments are accepted until July 13, 2026.
