Description

The Pacific Fishery Management Council's Habitat Committee will hold an online public meeting to discuss current habitat issues including deep sea mineral mining, oil and gas development on the U.S. West Coast, and other habitat-related issues. The committee will also work on developing a habitat issues tracking tool and a draft template letter for quick turnaround comment letters. The meeting is scheduled for June 2-3, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific Time each day. Non-emergency issues not on the agenda may be discussed but will not be subject to formal action unless emergency action is required.
