The Department of Transportation's Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking public comments on a request to use the foreign-built small passenger vessel M/V CALAIS in United States coastwise trade. MARAD will determine if the proposed use adversely affects U.S. vessel builders or U.S. coastwise trade businesses that use U.S.-built vessels. Comments are invited to assist in this determination.
