Description

Overview The United States Air Force, through the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), Tinker AFB 73145, is contemplating the overhaul of the F-16 Check Valve. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment, and materials necessary to accomplish the overhaul. The work includes disassembly, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, re-assembly, testing, and finishing actions required to restore the item to a fully serviceable condition, in accordance with the solicitation requirements and all attachments. A firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is contemplated, with a performance period of five years. Requirements The requirements set forth in this notice are defined per Purchase Request FD20302600572 as follows: Written response is required. Interested vendors not previously qualified must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package to the Source Development, Small Business Office at 405-739-7243. As per FAR 9.202(e), the contracting officer need not delay a proposed award to allow a potential offeror to demonstrate qualification standards. Part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain part quality. Existing design, engineering, and manufacturing knowledge by qualified sources necessitate acquisition from approved sources. To receive technical data during the pre-solicitation phase, offerors must email a request to AFLCMC.LZP.PUBSALES@us.af.mil. Requests must include the solicitation number, specific data needed, and a current, approved DD Form 2345. The government is not responsible for incomplete, misdirected, or untimely requests. Additional Notes Some units may be beyond repair upon inspection. A sole source solicitation is contemplated. The RMC is R4/D. The solicitation is expected around 29 May 2026, with responses due by 30 June 2026, and an estimated award date of around 03 August 2026.
