The Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) is announcing its intent to award a sole source contract for crime risk reporting services. - Sole source procurement to Cap Index, Inc. for CRIMECAST Premium Reports - Cap Index, Inc. is the OEM and sole provider of the CAP Index Scoring System - Services include: - Address-specific crime risk data and risk intelligence - Detailed, color-coded maps showing crime risks near USAO locations - Crime risk scores for past, current, and future periods - Data coverage at local, state, regional, and national levels - Methodologies tailored to criminal activities (street gangs, organized crime, etc.) - Access to a customer account and EOUSA/USAO web interface - No competition; no Request for Quote will be issued - Justification based on FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source) - Place of performance and contracting office: U.S. Department of Justice, 600 E Street, NW, Washington, DC 20530

Description

The Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) intends to solicit and award a Purchase Order to Cap Index, Inc, 64 E. Uwchlan Avenue, Suite 520, Exton, PA 19341, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. 

EOUSA anticipates award of a contract, on a sole source basis, to Cap Index, Inc to provide CRIMECAST Premium Reports with address-specific crime risk data using the proprietary CAP Index Scoring System.  These scores provide a relative measure of the likelihood that crime and loss will occur at a given address within the United States.  The crime report will include:

Risk intelligence information Detailed, color-coded map(s) that depict crime risks surrounding our USAOs locations Risk data for each of the major crimes against persons and property Crime risk scores (past, current, future), to include determining that the risk is categorized as “low risk, moderate risk, elevated risk, high risk, severe risk”. Data at the local, State, Regional, and National levels Within 4-blocks of the address of the USAO, 1-mile, 3-mile, and/or 6-mile methodology tailored to criminal activities that include street gangs, outlaw motorcycle gangs, prison gangs, to include Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations, Organized Crime Drug enterprises, and all other criminal enterprises. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations.  A Request for Quote will not be available for this requirement.  The intent of this solicitation is for informational purposes only.  However, any information received within five days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government.
