NIST Boulder is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive municipal solid waste (MSW) and recycling services for its campus. - Government Buyer: - National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Office of Facilities and Property Management, Facility Support Division - Products and Services Requested: - Municipal solid waste (MSW) containers (various sizes, including bear-proof and compactors) - Recycling containers - 30-yard containers for compostable materials and yard waste - Scheduled monthly collection and disposal services for MSW and recycling (12 per year each) - On-demand collection and disposal services for various container sizes and frequencies - Monthly collection and disposal for a 30 cubic yard compactor (12 per year) - Boulder trash tax services (including per-cubic-yard charges) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Container sizes range from 3 to 30 cubic yards - Bear-proof containers and compactors required - Contractor must provide both scheduled and on-demand services - Compliance with safety, security, and environmental regulations is mandatory - Services include compostable material and yard waste collection - Contract includes a base year plus four one-year option periods - No specific OEMs or brands are named; opportunity is open to qualified vendors - Place of performance is the NIST Boulder campus at 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO
