The Civil Rights Department (CRD) is seeking Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) services for investigative interviews, council meetings, mediations, legal interviews/depositions, and confidential administrative interviews. The services ensure individuals with limited English proficiency have full access to CRD meetings, interviews, hearings, trainings, depositions, and mediations in compliance with applicable laws. VRI services may be delivered by video remote technology, with qualified interpreters needed for most proceedings and court-certified interpreters occasionally required for legal proceedings such as depositions. The CRD intends to award one contract based on this Invitation for Bid (IFB).
