Description

A.3 Item Description: These transformers are classified as non-PCB per 40 CFR 761 due to: where analysis was performed, results show <50 PPM PCB, or where analysis was not performed, manufacture data plates show non-PCB. The purchaser will not be authorized to utilize a Statement of Intent (SOI) destination in a state which regulates PCB levels at a more stringent level than 40 CFR 761 unless the transformer PCBs levels are under the state regulated level. Example: CA, OR, and WA regulate PCBs if >5 PPM. SOI destinations in these states can receive transformers from these sales if the transformer PCBs levels are less than 5 PPM.
