Description

The County of San Diego is soliciting proposals for urgent services for In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) recipients who require immediate personal care or other in-home services to remain safely in their homes. The services are intended for recipients who have no alternative assistance, have not selected a caregiver, are temporarily without a caregiver, or cannot wait for their usual caregiver, and are at risk of hospitalization or out-of-home placement without these services. The contract term is anticipated to be one year with two one-year options, starting August 1, 2025. The County estimates the annual cost of services to be between $170,000 and $200,000, with a total contract value of $500,000 to $600,000 over the full term.
