The USDA Forest Service, Mendocino National Forest, is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive pest and rodent control services at four administrative sites in the Grindstone Ranger District. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Mendocino National Forest, Grindstone Ranger District - Locations: - Stonyford Administrative Site (5171 Ladoga Stonyford Road, Stonyford, CA) - Elk Creek Office (3286 County Road 308, Elk Creek, CA) - Alder Springs Administrative Site (335 County Road 307, Elk Creek, CA) - Willows Office / Mendocino National Forest Supervisors Office (825 North Humboldt Ave, Willows, CA) - Products/Services Requested: - Monthly pest and rodent control treatments for buildings at all four sites - Stonyford: 5 buildings, 12 monthly treatments per year - Elk Creek: 1 building, 12 monthly treatments per year - Alder Springs: 2 buildings, 6 monthly treatments per year (May–October) - Willows: 2 buildings, 12 monthly treatments per year - Use of EPA-registered pesticides and rodent bait snap or glue traps - Additional pest control services on a call-when-needed basis (response within 48 hours) - Licensed specialists required; must adhere to environmental and safety standards - Continuous maintenance, monitoring, and retreatment as needed - Excludes certain pests as specified in the statement of work - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, and materials must be provided by the contractor - Environmentally safe materials and best practices for pest prevention are required - Post-treatment reporting and compliance with federal safety/environmental regulations - Small business set-aside under NAICS 561710 - Period of Performance: - Base year (12 months), with up to four one-year option periods (potential total of 5 years) - Alder Springs site treated only May–October each year - No specific OEMs or brand-name vendors are identified; open to qualified pest control service providers.

Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor,equipment, transportation, supplies, and materials to provide Pest and Rodent Control Treatment Services at four administrative sites, on the Grindstone Ranger District, Mendocino National Forest.  The pest-control services shall adhere to recommend practices to minimize attraction and harboring of rodents, roaches, and other pests and to perform extermination, trapping, and control procedures at regular intervals.  This contract will be a base with potential 4 options years.
