JBER Kitchen Hood & Duct Exhaust System Inspection, Cleaning, and Maintenance Services

The U.S. Air Force at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive inspection, cleaning, preventive maintenance, and repair services for kitchen hoods and duct exhaust systems across multiple dining facilities on base. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, 673d Contracting Squadron (FA5000 673 CONS LGC) at JBER, Alaska - Products/Services Requested: - Recurring inspections, cleaning, repair, and preventive maintenance of kitchen hoods and duct exhaust systems - Includes monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual service intervals - Special Maintenance Projects (SMPs) for additional or out-of-scope work - Supply of parts and materials as needed (not to exceed specified amounts) - All work must comply with NFPA 96, UFC, OSHA, and manufacturer specifications - Certified personnel (IKECA) required for all services - Strict adherence to safety, hazardous material handling, and security protocols - Minimum two personnel per location; use of non-hazardous, biodegradable cleaning products - Protective coverings and equipment reinstallation required after service - Quantities: - Quarterly: 180 services - Semi-annual: 68 services - Annual: 14 services - Monthly: 1 service - Recurring (base and option years): 12 services per year, plus 6 for a possible extension - Unique/Notable Requirements: - 100% small business set-aside (NAICS 561790) - Contractors must hold all applicable licenses and certifications - Site visit required; base access procedures apply - Special Maintenance Projects require rapid cost proposals and documentation - Quality control and reporting plans due within 10 days of award - Contract includes provisions for rescheduling due to base closures or emergencies - Locations: - All work performed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska - Site visit at Boniface Gate Visitor Center, JBER - Contracting office: 10480 Sijan Ave, STE 242, JBER, AK 99506-2501

Site Visit: A site visit is scheduled for 27 May 2026 at 0700 Alaska Daylight Time (AKDT). Offerors are encouraged to attend. The meeting point will be at the Boniface Gate Visitor Center at JBER, AK 99506. The site visit will cover various locations as depicted in Appendix A of the PWS. Attendees are urged to arrive at the gate no later than (NLT) 0650, with a departure to the sites of NLT 0700.
