The U.S. Air Force at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Langley AFB, Virginia, is seeking contractor support for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of three metal aircraft sunshades. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 94th Fighter Generation Squadron and 633d Contracting Squadron, Langley Air Force Base - Products/Services Requested: - Inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair services for three metal roof sunshades (two with six aircraft parking spots each, one with seven spots) - Services include: - Semi-annual and quarterly inspections of structural, electrical, and safety features per OEM and military standards - Preventive maintenance and repairs of LED lighting, bird nesting mitigation, lightning protection, obstruction lighting, safety reflective devices, and fall protection systems - Emergency, urgent, and routine repairs as needed - Deliverables such as inspection reports, maintenance plans, and quality control documentation - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with OEM specifications and military standards - Emphasis on environmental compliance, emergency response, and qualified contractor personnel - Contractors must be registered under NAICS 541350 (Building Inspection Services) - Coordination and approval required for all repairs - No specific OEMs or part numbers are identified in the solicitation - Period of performance includes a base year with four option years, with inspections scheduled semi-annually and quarterly

Description

The 633d Contracting Squadron has a need to perform inspections and maintenance including all repair services to three aircraft metal roof sunshades on Joint Base Langley- Eustis (JBLE), Langley Air Force Base (AFB), Virginia (VA), to include but not limited to: structure LED lights, bird nesting mitigation, lightning protection inspection, obstruction lighting, safety reflective devices, fall protection and any other attached features. The project's goal is to maintain serviceable, safe aircraft shelters.

Performance period will consist of one (1) base year 30 September 2026 - 29 September 2027, with four (4) subsequent option years. The Government anticipates making award on or about 30 June May 2026, with the Request for Quote (RFQ) release date on or about 25 May 2026.
