Description
The Maryland Environmental Service is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide wastewater hauling and disposal from the Fire Rescue Training Pit facility. The wastewater consists of stormwater containing more than 1% waste petroleum products and Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF), which contains per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) that can cause groundwater and environmental contamination. The site is located on Mathison Way outside the BWI security perimeter. Bids must be submitted electronically via the MES Procurement Portal; other submission methods will not be accepted.
