The National Park Service, Department of the Interior, is seeking construction services to restore the maintenance lot at Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park in Paterson, New Jersey. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Northeast Region, Contracting Operations East (NY MABO) - Scope of Work: - Complete restoration of the maintenance facility parking lot, including: - Removal of approximately 20,610 square feet of existing asphalt - Grading and installation of underdrain and subdrainage systems - Concrete work for slabs, curbs, dumpster pad, and guardrails - Asphalt repaving and compaction - Installation of new guardrails (147 linear feet), steel W-beam vehicle guide rails, and 4 steel surface mount bollards - Installation of 150 linear feet of chain link fence, 2 walk-through gates, and 1 rolling gate - Installation of 12 precast concrete parking bumpers - Pavement markings: 244 linear feet of white stall lines, 106 square feet of white island markings, 181 square feet of blue island markings, 5 white arrows, 1 handicap symbol, and 1 handicap parking sign - Installation of 6 crash-rated decorative bollards (option) - Installation of privacy slats in chain link fences and gates (option) - Notable Requirements: - Lump sum pricing for base and option items - Small business set-aside (SBA-eligible) - Key personnel and past performance documentation required - All work must comply with ASTM standards for fencing and construction - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; standard construction materials and methods are specified - Estimated contract value: $100,000 to $250,000 - Place of performance: Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, 72 McBride Avenue Extension, Paterson, NJ - Contracting office: NPS Northeast Region, 210 New York Ave., Staten Island, NY, and Charlestown Navy Yard, Boston, MA - Period of performance: Base period of 60 days for main work, with options for additional work (5 days for privacy slats, 3 days for bollards), and a total completion window of up to 120 days from Notice to Proceed
