Solar Street Light Replacement at BIA/BIE Chinle Administration Campus

The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), under the Department of the Interior, are seeking a contractor to replace nonfunctional solar street lights at the Chinle administration campus in Arizona. - Government Buyer: - Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), Indian Education Acquisition Office, Division of Acquisition Management - Contracting office located at 1011 Indian School Rd., Suite 352A, Albuquerque, NM - Products/Services Requested: - Seventeen (17) new solar-powered commercial LED street lighting fixtures - 10 fixtures require new concrete base foundations with anchor bolts - 7 fixtures will use existing concrete bases - Poles must be installed at minimum 3ft depth and withstand 90mph winds - Complete demolition of existing lighting system - Installation, commissioning, and performance evaluation of new lighting - One day of training by manufacturer's representative for Authority, Custodian, and Maintenance staff - Comprehensive documentation, cleanup, restoration, and warranty services - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide all labor, supplies, design, materials, safety, personnel, and equipment - Compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards - Compliance with tribal taxes and TERO fees - Set aside 100% for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises - Background investigations and bonding required - Post-award virtual conference within 20 days after contract award - Estimated contract value: $100,000 to $250,000 - Place of performance: BIA/BIE Chinle administration campus, Navajo Route 7, Chinle, AZ - Period of performance: 120 days from Notice to Proceed, work during normal business hours

Description

The AZ Navajo Central Agency, Chinle Office has a requirement for replacement of solar street lights around the BIE/BIA administrative campus. The current lighting system is nonfunctional and requires replacement. The contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, design, material, safety, personnel and equipment for proper installation of new solar powered street lights.
