General. This Sources Sought is issued for informational and market research purposes only. It is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or a solicitation under FAR Subpart 5.2.
The purpose of this Sources Sought is to obtain information regarding industry interest, capabilities, and qualifications so the Government can make informed acquisition decisions. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to replace vacuum interrupters on circuit breaker as defined in this Statement of Work (SOW). The circuit breaker is an Eaton / Cutler Hammer brand, 150VCP-W50C circuit breaker with serial number 03084859.
Scope:
This SOW covers replacement of vacuum interrupters, calibration and testing of one (1) Eaton / Cutler Hammer type VCP-W50C vacuum circuit breaker. Satisfactory completion of this work requires that
refurbishment is conducted either in accordance with the original manufacturer’s instructions for replacement, installation, maintenance (I.B. 32-255-1G – Eaton "Instructions for Installation, Operation and Maintenance of Type VCP-W Vacuum Circuit Breakers"). In strict accordance with the original manufacturer’s drawings and other documentation or following ANSI/PEARL electrical equipment reconditioning standards. Acceptable performance of the circuit breaker is also to be verified with testing performed in accordance with NETA Maintenance Testing Specifications (MTS)
