NASA is seeking sources for the supply of DC brushless motors for the Wallops Arc-Second Pointing System. - Government Buyer: - National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) - NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) - NASA Wallops Flight Facility - OEMs and Vendors: - Allient Motion (OEM, part number 5A503-1) - EMOTEQ CORPORATION dba Allient Tulsa (sole source vendor) - Products Requested: - 11 DC brushless motors - Part number: Allient Motion 5A503-1 - Key specifications: - Gearbox capable of at least 25 ozin continuous torque at +24VDC - Stall current no more than 3.5 Amps - Shaft 0.313 with eared flange - Maximum length less than 3 inches - Maximum diameter less than 1.5 inches - Eared flange no larger than 1.75 inches diagonal - Unique Requirements: - Motors must meet specific torque, current, shaft, and size specifications for the Wallops Arc-Second Pointing System - Delivery required within 32 weeks after contract acceptance - NASA may consider competition if written capability statements are submitted - Place of Performance and Delivery: - NASA Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia
