Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the purchase of Brand Name or Equal Teknion Kupp Chairs, and Teknion Synchro-Tilt Task Chairs to include delivery and installation. This notice is not a request for quotations. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Any inquires by a contractor that is not a Small Business will not be considered. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 423210 and the applicable Small Business Size Standard, as established by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is 500.

In accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul FAR 12.201-1(c)(2), the Government may solicit quotations directly from suppliers for this acquisition at or below the simplified acquisition threshold.  Vendors that respond to this notice and provide a valid point of contact MAY BE issued the solicitation directly via email. Response to this notice does not guarantee that your firm will receive the solicitation package. The Government reserves the right to determine the number of sources to be solicited. It is the vendor’s responsibility to notify the point of contact below of their interest in this requirement.

The solicitation (RFQ) will be issued on or around May 19th, 2026.  Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or receive a response.

If adequate competition is not received, the RFQ will be posted to SAM.gov.
