Description
The University of Northern Colorado (UNC) has completed an inventory of human remains in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory identified human remains representing at least seven individuals with a cultural affiliation to the Pueblo of San Ildefonso, New Mexico. The remains include seven adult skulls, one left femur, and various post-cranial skeletal elements. Repatriation of the human remains may occur on or after June 11, 2026, and requests for repatriation must be sent to the authorized representative at UNC.
