Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has prepared a draft management plan (DMP) as part of the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary management plan review. The DMP replaces the 2011 sanctuary management plan and evaluates progress toward sanctuary goals, proposing revisions to fulfill the National Marine Sanctuaries Act. NOAA also prepared a draft environmental assessment (DEA) to evaluate environmental impacts of implementing the DMP and ongoing field activities. Public comments are being solicited on the DMP and DEA.
