Description

The Department of the Treasury will submit an information collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and clearance regarding the Opportunity Zones Nomination Tool. This tool assists in the certification and designation process of Qualified Opportunity Zones (QOZs), which are low-income community eligible census tracts nominated by States and designated by the Secretary of the Treasury. The collection supports the permanent tax incentives established for investments in these zones to promote economic growth and job creation. Comments on this request are invited and must be received by June 11, 2026.
