This opportunity seeks contractors for maintenance and restoration at the Wynnewood State Historic Site in Castalian Springs, TN. - Government Buyer: - Tennessee Department of General Services, in coordination with the Tennessee State Historic Sites Program - Products and Services Requested: - Replacement of approximately 2,225 feet of road-facing fencing using rough-cut white oak, finished with black asphalt fence paint and installed with coated fasteners - Construction of four new gates: - Three Hoover Fence X-Rail double gates (16 feet wide) with black hardware and concrete catches - One custom gate reproducing the existing design, using Cypress or Sapele wood and restored hardware - Removal of approximately 650 feet of existing fencing and associated vegetation, including stump grinding and spot herbicide treatment (Crossbow or similar) - Exterior repairs to Spencer Cabin, including siding, soffit, fascia replacement, priming and painting with Sherwin Williams Latitude Exterior Acrylic Latex, window restoration with Sarco Dual Glaze, and gutter reinstallation - Lick area repairs: removal of flagpole and concrete stairs, backfilling, seeding, and straw application - Groundhog damage remediation: filling three holes with heavy mesh wire, rocks, and dirt, and post replacement at the doctor's office - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Use of specific materials (e.g., rough-cut white oak, Cypress/Sapele wood, Sherwin Williams and Sarco products) - Compliance with Secretary of the Interior (SOI) preservation standards for historic structures - Emphasis on safety, coordination, and preservation best practices - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named, but Hoover Fence, Sherwin Williams, and Sarco are referenced for product types and standards - All work to be performed at Wynnewood State Historic Site, 210 Old Highway 25, Castalian Springs, TN 37031
