Howard County, Maryland is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive printing, reproduction, and distribution services for county departments. - Government Buyer: - Howard County, Maryland, Office of Procurement and Contract Administration - Products and Services Requested: - Wide range of print products: letterhead, envelopes, flyers, brochures/booklets, rack cards/postcards, NCR forms (multi-part), business cards, photocopying, posters, labels (including on roll), bindery (staple, screw, edge, stitching), large format scanning and printing (greyscale and color), full bleed reproduction, mounting of large/oversized items, construction drawings, laminating, digital scanning, graphic design/artwork, door hangers, coroplast signs (with or without stakes) - Direct mailing services: preparation, CASS Certification, NCOA processing, distribution (postage reimbursed separately) - Prepress services - Online ordering system (to be implemented within one year) - Periodic training for county staff on ordering and process - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must have at least three years of experience in printing, reproduction, and distribution - CASS Certification and NCOA processing required for mailing - Use of ecofriendly inks (preferably plant-based oils, at least 55% bio-derived content) - Recycled-content paper (minimum 10%, preference for FSC-certified and chlorine-free) - Proofs required within three days; standard job completion within seven days of proof approval - All deliveries FOB destination, inside delivery - Living wage requirements apply for contracts over $100,000/year - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named in the solicitation - Delivery and performance at Howard County government facilities in Columbia, Maryland
