Description
Tucson Unified School District is seeking to enter into a contract with produce distributor(s) to provide fresh, locally grown, specialty produce. The produce must be grown within the state of Arizona and meet the USDA definition of Specialty Crop. The produce will be associated with an organized educational activity and fulfill nutritional needs of a menu. The vendor(s) will provide smaller deliveries to the Food Services Central Warehouse. The contract is intended to begin July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with a possible extension for one additional year if funding is available.
