The Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS), Division of Criminal Investigations, is seeking vendors to purchase and install specialized equipment for two Statewide Response Team (SRT) vehicles. - Government Buyer: - Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS), Division of Criminal Investigations, Office of Purchasing and Contractual Services - OEMs and Vendors: - Ford (chassis) - Whelen (emergency lighting and siren systems) - Will-Burt (light towers) - Magnum (inverter/charger systems) - Vanner (LED flasher units) - Carefree (awnings) - Additional brands may be accepted as comparable for many components - Products/Services Requested: - Two new Ford F-550 4x4 Super Cab Chassis for SRT vehicle build-out - Refurbished non-walk-in investigations support units - Installation of 83 line items including: - Module body components (body panels, roof, compartments, doors, rails, etc.) - Emergency lighting and siren systems (Whelen M6-Series, M62BTT, M62BU, M62T, ION T-Series, Liberty II 59" Super-LED light bar, etc.) - Will-Burt LED Night Scan Chief light tower (NS2.3-750 WB X200, 7.5 ft) - Magnum inverter/charger systems (MS2812-3000, ME-RC50, ME-400F, ME-BMK-R-L) - Vanner electronic LED flasher unit - Carefree electric vinyl awning and LED light option (12V, up to 13 ft) - 12,000 lb electric winch with 3/8" synthetic rope (M12-S) - Communication equipment, electrical systems, winches, safety accessories, and radio integration (SLERS) - Vehicle equipment installation services (labor and materials) - Additional services on an hourly basis - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Mandatory pre-bid meeting at Florida State Fire College - Compliance with Florida statutes and certified technicians for certain radio equipment - Work on each vehicle must be completed within 120 days of receipt, with penalties for delays - No contract renewals; one-year contract term - Warranty work and monthly status reporting required
