Elevator Preventive Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair Services for Lone Star College System

Lone Star College System (LSCS) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive elevator preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair services across its 23 campuses and centers in the greater Houston area. - Government Buyer: - Lone Star College System (LSCS) Procurement Department - Senior Commodity Manager: Lydia Sterling - Products/Services Requested: - Monthly preventive maintenance and inspection for 3,672 elevators and 108 wheelchair lifts - Annual inspection and testing for all elevators and lifts, including code-mandated safety tests and certifications - Emergency and non-routine repair services (regular and after-hours) for elevators and lifts - Supply of OEM and non-OEM parts, as well as consumable materials for maintenance and repairs - Service call/trip charges and diagnostic fees (if applicable) - Product Line Items: - Monthly and annual maintenance for elevators and wheelchair lifts - Emergency repair labor (mechanic, helper/apprentice, supervisor/specialist) at regular and after-hours rates - OEM and non-OEM parts, consumable materials, service call/trip charges, and diagnostic fees - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All services must comply with ASME and Texas state codes - Technicians must be certified and all-inclusive pricing is required (travel, fuel, overhead, profit) - Contract term is three years with two optional one-year renewals; pricing must remain firm for the initial term - Mandatory site visits across all locations prior to proposal submission - Compliance with Texas Ethics Commission Form 1295 and other state/local procurement policies - No specific OEMs or elevator brands are named; the opportunity is open to all qualified elevator service providers - Estimated contract value is approximately $2,500,000 - Place of Performance: - All LSCS campuses, centers, and satellite locations throughout the Houston area, including The Woodlands, Cypress, Katy, Houston, Tomball, Magnolia, Conroe, and Kingwood
