The U.S. Air Force, through the 48th Contracting Squadron and Civil Engineer Squadron, is soliciting comprehensive haulage, maintenance, and repair services for government-owned domestic and commercial furniture and appliances at RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Feltwell, and surrounding areas in the United Kingdom. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 48th Contracting Squadron (48 CONS), 48th Civil Engineer Squadron (48 CES), Furnishings Management Section (FMS) - Scope of Services: - Haulage (delivery, installation, disconnection, pickup) of furniture and appliances - Maintenance and repair of domestic and commercial appliances and furniture - Cleaning and preventative maintenance programs for appliances and furniture - 24/7 service call support with rapid response times (4 hours for domestic, 5 working days for commercial) - Direct exchange and after-hours exchange services - Transformer repair and contractor-acquired property management - Compliance with UK TUPE law and mission-essential service continuity - Products/Appliances Managed: - UK and US style washers, dryers (vented, condenser, combi), fridges, stoves/cookers/ranges, dishwashers, transformers - Estimated stock: approximately 71 appliances of various types - Large estimated quantities for deliveries, pickups, service calls, repairs, and cleaning tasks over a 5-year period - Notable Requirements: - Strict scheduling and security clearance requirements - Compliance with both UK and US regulations - No specific OEMs or part numbers are mandated; services must support a mix of UK and US appliances - Services cover a 50-mile radius from RAF Feltwell - Contract is IDIQ with a five-year ordering period and possible 6-month extension - No guaranteed minimum quantities; all quantities are estimates - Locations: - RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Feltwell, and surrounding areas (UK) - U.S. Air Force administrative and contracting offices at these bases

Description

The Furniture Management Section (FMS) requires haulage, maintenance and repair services for domestic household furniture and appliances, to and from government-designated residences at RAF Lakenheath, Mildenhall, Feltwell and the surrounding areas. 

NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before, or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
