Description

SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase medical products from a contract awarded by a consortium (GPO) pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the purchase of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors selling equivalent or functionally equivalent products may contact the listed representative to discuss procurement. Equivalency must be demonstrated by meeting clinical performance and KPIs, and interested parties must provide a complete cross-reference to the attached product list including pricing and unit of measure. Proof of being the original manufacturer or authorized distributor is required, and products must be furnished for evaluation, demonstration, and trial.
